Ascott Makati

Ascott Makati is located in Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati. The location itself is a blast for it offers convenience and comfort in one. It is right on top of one of the best Malls in Metro Manila and has close proximity to the NAIA International Airport. You will get to the airport in no more than 20 minutes.

We had the chance to stay at Ascott, March of 2011. Our original reservation was a 1-Bedroom Executive but  during the check-in, all 1-Bedroom Apartments were fully booked so we were upgraded to 2-Bedroom Deluxe at no extra charge. This is how it looked like upon entrance.

The room was very spacious, very clean and furnitures are well designed. It has a neat kitchen, washer and dryer, a living room and 2 bathrooms.

 Kitchen

 Sala

 View from the laundry area

Bathroom

Finally, the bedroom..

All in all, Ascott is a 4.8

Staff were friendly, complimentary breakfast were good and had variations, pool was nice.

Diamond Hotel

Diamond Hotel is a World-class Hotel in Manila. It is situated along the Roxas Boulevard and is only minutes away from the NAIA Airport and Makati Business District.

The room that was given to us was pretty nice. The bed was big and very comfortable.

There was a mini couch where you can enjoy a sight of the Manila Bay.

The room was very spacious for two people and has a romantic touch.

And a fantastic bathroom!

Definitely be coming back :)

Booking a Cheap Flight to Boracay 2012

Booking a trip to Boracay during High Season is not as expensive as we thought. It just requires a constant update on Piso Fares in Cebu Pacific website or Cebu Pacific Facebook Fanpage.

The first thing that we should consider in booking a trip is our Schedule. The more flexible our schedule is, the better our chance of grabbing that super cheap Boracay getaway.

So how much is your Airline ticket budget roundtrip to Boracay? 4,000-5,000? Ours is only 1,500php for two people. :) That is the power of Cebu Pacific's promo and piso fares.

This is actually a trip of my parents to Boracay just this February 2012. Since we are from Cagayan de Oro, there is no direct flight to Caticlan so we have to fly to Cebu first, then to Caticlan.

This is their Itinerary Receipt for Cebu-Caticlan. Imaging paying only P662.78 for two people. That is not even 350php each.

Finally, since they also want to explore Ilo-Ilo City, they opted to travel by land from Caticlan to Ilo-Ilo and flew from Ilo-Ilo back to Cagayan de Oro. Again, for only P774.78 for two people. That is very much a savings!

How to book Cheap/Promo Fares in Cebu Pacific

In the past, it has been like a stereotype that only the "rich" or should I say the well to do people are the only ones that could afford to take an airplane as a mode of transportation. I myself was already in College level the first time I was able to ride an aircraft.

But, nowadays, that is not the case anymore. Even those in the lower class can now afford to travel by air as pleased. How? I will be telling you some tips that I personally use and that might be of help to those who want to buy cheap Airline tickets.

I personally prefer Cebu Pacific over the other airline companies because of the very convenient way to book and the numerous Piso fares and promo fares that they provide.

1. First, we will need an ATM card from a bank that is a member of Bancnet, Inc., an interbank network connecting the atm networks of it's member banks. Some of these banks include Chinabank, Allied Bank, Metrobank, PS Bank, PNB and Veterans Bank. You will find the whole list of these banks here.

I use Chinabank Tellercard because aside from the good interest rate they offer, they have small maintaining balance which is only 1,000php and they also have a good customer service.

2. After having our Bancnet ATM Card, it is best to Register to be a CEB Club Member. Why? It's because during registration you will already key in your personal details like Full Name, Address, Contact number, etc and also your guest's details. Guest can be your parents, siblings or husband/wife or anyone who usually travels with you.

This way, during booking you just have to log on your account and you wouldn't have to type in your details again. This is specifically important when your booking for a promo fare since promo fares are easily sold and needs quick booking.

3. After having done all that, what we should do is to stay updated with the Cebu Pacific website, You can also, like their facebook fanpage since the admin always announce promos and piso fares in their page. Cebu Pacific usually posts promos during midnight and at noon so it will also be very good to regularly check their website during those times.

Also, Airlines' promos' travel dates would usually still be months from the day of booking. Say for example today, March 3, 2012 there is an going Piso Sale until tomorrow. The travel dates would still be from June 1 to September 30, 2012

We are almost on our way to our preferred destinations at a very low price.

Hope this helps :)

Welcome Post :)

Hello,

This is actually my second blog and in this blog I decided to focus on writing my travel escapades. I originally planned on writing my travel experience in my first blog but then since blogger ideally works in such a way that a blog should have a main theme rather than talking endlessly about various topics.

I hope and pray that one day someone will stumble upon this blog of mine. :))

Thank you,
Noeme
